A safe, supportive membership space

If you've ever felt like:

  • You’re the one everyone turns to, but you’re not sure who you turn to.

  • You love your work but it all just feels too much.

  • You’ve felt the creeping guilt of not doing enough (even though you’re doing the work of five people).

  • You’ve wondered if you’re the only one quietly winging it.

  • You just want a safe space to talk about all of this without having to sound “professional” or “together”.

Then you're in the right place...

for small charity leaders who care deeply - and need a place to breathe, share and grow.

£49 per month - cancel anytime.

What To Expect

Leadership in a small charity can feel lonely.

You’re making big decisions with small teams (sometimes with no team), often without enough time, money or moral support.

You care deeply, but sometimes it feels like everyone else is coasting while you’re treading water (or drowning).

You don’t need another qualification.

You need people who get it - and a space where you can be honest, ask questions, and still leave feeling lighter.

Through my work with Small Charity Leaders Club, I see what happens when people who care deeply get the right mix of structure and support.

The live sessions and guest speakers gave leaders the tools they needed.

But it was the community that changed everything - the endless moral support, the shared laughter, the “same here” moments.

So I created the Small Charity Leaders Membership Community for anyone who wants to keep that connection going, or join it for the first time.

A place to stay connected, stay learning, and stay well.

Connection and community

No small talk, no judgement, no pressure to look like you’ve got it all together.

Just a safe space full of people who get it.

Show up in your pyjamas, eating your breakfast (at 11:45am), with a poorly child on your lap and a dog barking at the postie.

In this community, you don’t have to impress anyone - you just have to show up as yourself.

Monthly online and live events

We don’t do “sit still and take notes” energy here.

Learning in this space looks like chatting about fundraising while stirring your tea, swapping ideas between meetings, or having an “aha” moment halfway through a group call.

Our monthly live sessions are deep dives with guest experts. They're practical, honest and human and decided on by the community.

Don't worry if you can't make it live - recordings are available on demand 24/7.

Monthly peer support groups

You join the call, sigh, say “you’ll never believe what I've had to deal with this week,” and ten other faces immediately nod in sympathy.

That’s what the peer support groups are like.

They’re small, safe and confidential - 90 minutes where it’s your turn to be supported, heard, and helped.

Bring your big messy challenges, or just come to listen and breathe for a bit.

It’s like therapy meets Action Learning Set.

A growing resource bank

Picture this: you’ve been asked for a new safeguarding policy or a board report template and your brain immediately whispers, “Google it?” Not anymore.

The resource library has you covered - over 100 templates, examples and tools built for small charities by people who actually understand them.

Plus - access the live workshop recordings on demand, 24/7.

1000s of small charities supported over almost 20 years

I’m Vic Hancock Fell, and I’ve spent nearly 20 years working in and alongside small charities - as a founder, CEO, consultant, Trustee, trainer and cheerleader.

I’ve led small charities through growth, crisis and everything in between, and co-authored national research on small charity leadership and mental health.

I’m a sector advocate, good-trouble- maker and tireless defender of small charities - and I know first-hand how lonely this work can be.

I've worked with thousands of small charities and their leaders over the course of my almost 20 year career in this sector.

I know what you're thinking...

"I can't justify spending on this".

"My charity doesn't have the budget for this"

"I'm just so busy - what if I don't have time for this?"

I hear you and I know money is tight and time even more so - but I also know that this community will be a game-changer for you. The research I led in 2024 found that 85% of small charity leaders said their mental health was negatively impacted by their role as a small charity leader - among the top challenges listed were loneliness and isolation.

Do something for you - and for your organisation.

Because when you’re supported, connected and looked after, everything you lead gets stronger too. This isn’t an indulgence. It’s part of leading well.

Pricing

This membership gives you year-round learning, connection and support for £49 per month -
with the same quality and care, shared among peers who’ll stay in your corner long after each session ends.

What do your peers say?

“You’ve created something life-changing, Vic. That’s huge.”

“This group has slowed me down and helped a little as I feel I’m in the middle of yet another crisis this year. A lovely group you have here.”

“Finally breathing. Connected. Supported.”

“You’ve built a space where we can be honest, messy and still feel seen.”

“The support and understanding I’ve found here is unlike anything else. It’s real, practical, and full of heart.”

“Vic’s spaces are a rare mix of smart and safe. I’ve learned so much, but I’ve also laughed and felt genuinely seen.”
